The SHA 56 is a battery-powered vacuum shredder designed for homeowners to remove leaves and hedge cuttings from their garden; quieter, lighter, and more environmentally friendly than a petrol or an electric machine, it is powered by STIHL’s interchangeable AK battery system.

Efficient garden clean-up

A large collection bag connects to the suction tube of the vacuum shredder to hold compact leaves and other debris for quick and efficient collection and disposal; an additional front handle and a padded harness provide additional comfort during vacuum shredding mode.

A practical 2-in-1 machine

The unit can be easily converted into blower mode without the need for tools, to gather leaves and other debris into piles with its round nozzle and adjustable blower tube. A rotatable handle with a variable speed trigger ensures excellent ergonomics in both operating modes.

Purchase the way you want to

Being powered by battery technology, you need at least one battery and a charger to operate the SHA 56. The benefit of the interchangeable AK System is that you may already have a compatible battery and battery charger in your arsenal, so the cheaper ‘shell only’ option can be purchased as this doesn’t include batteries or chargers. Otherwise, these must be purchased separately or together in a kit.

STIHL AK System tools and batteries are covered for 2 years from the date of purchase by the owner when used for the designed purpose of that product by domestic users.
